Singapore's trade landscape is not just surviving, it's thriving. Today, the city-state is one of the largest global commodity trade hubs: It conducts close to 20 per cent of the world’s energy and metals trade, and is among the largest trade hubs in agri-commodities. This is despite Singapore neither being an oil producer nor having mining and agriculture sectors.
