On Friday, February 21st, and Saturday, Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore hosted the Meeting of the Italian Chambers in Southern Africa, the Middle East, Asia, and Australia.
The two-day event began with welcome addresses by H.E. Dante Brandi, Ambassador of Italy to Singapore, On. Nicola Carè, Member of the Italian Parliament, and Mario Pozza, President of Assocamerestero. This was followed by a panel discussion on geopolitics and the economic outlook in the Indo-Pacific, moderated by Professor Francesco Mancini.
Panelists included Caroline Berube, President of the Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore, Gianfranco Casati, Chairman at Antares Ventures, and Simone Santi Cav OSI, President of the Câmara de Comércio de Moçambique-Itália.
Delegates of the Italian Chambers of Commerce also had the opportunity to visit PSA BDP and SILICON BOX facilities.
The closed-door meeting on Saturday was officially opened with a message from Undersecretary of State Maria Tripodi.
