DESIGN COMMITTEE
The Design Committee brings together professionals with design expertise and backgrounds. It aims to enable the exchange of ideas and information, fostering dialogues on the business environment and issues of the day. The committee also serves to connect Italian companies operating in Singapore and the region with relevant agencies and stakeholders.
About Ed Ong
Ed Ong is the founder-director of M Luxury Asia, the official distributor of Barovier&Toso (Venezia 1295) in Singapore.
Barovier&Toso is the world’s oldest and most established lighting brand from Italy. Its clientele here include Louis Vuitton, Dolce&Gabbana, Fullerton Bay Hotel, St Regis Hotel, and Conrad Hotel. Since the opening of its mono-brand showroom on 1 Nassim Road, the brand has also fitted out large-scale custom installations in several Good Class Bungalows.
As a veteran professional in the design scene, Ed has been named twice by Tatler for the “50 Most Influential in Singapore Design” in 2015 and 2016. His latest contributions include the sponsorship of the Tatler Homes Design Awards 2023 and 2024.
