Pandemic Preparedness Webinar

The World Health Organization (WHO) on Monday (24th Feb, 2020) said the new COVID-19 epidemic had "peaked" in China but warned that a surge in cases elsewhere was "deeply concerning" and all countries should prepare for a "potential pandemic".

Professor Dale Fisher

Dale Fisher will share his experiences as part of the international expert team deployed to China by the Director General of WHO and institutional responses on the ground in the webinar. Professor Fisher is a Senior Consultant, Division of Infectious Diseases, National University Medicine Cluster, National University Hospital and Chair of the Global Outbreak Alert and Response Network (GOARN).
