Singapore: the Winners of the ICCS Business Awards 2022

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore has announced the winners of the annual ICCS Business Awards, now in its 13th year.

Rimorchiatori Mediterranei was named Best Italian Investor in Singapore. The company, founded in Genova, will be honored for its acquisition of Keppel Smit Towage Private Limited and Maju Maritime Pte Ltd, an investment that enabled the Italian group to become the world's third-largest player in the tugboat industry.

The winner for the Best Italian MNC in Singapore category is Modula Southeast Pte Ltd. The Trentino-based company will be honored for its continued commitment to the Singaporean and Asia Pacific markets and for being able to transfer know-how in vertical warehousing to the agritech sector. In fact, the company participated in the implementation of a major vertical farm project in Singapore.

The third prize for the Best Italian SME in Singapore category will go to New Value Group, which recently opened the NV Smart-Lean Academy in Singapore in collaboration with Singapore's Institute of Technical education (ITE).

The award ceremony will be held on Tuesday, October 4, at the Fullerton Hotel Singapore, in the presence of the heads of the Chamber of Commerce, the Italian Embassy in Singapore, local institutions and the Italian and Singaporean business community.
