Breakfast briefing on the New ONEPASS and COMPASS framework

The Italian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore collaborated with Hawksford Singapore Pte Ltd to share about the overview of the criteria, requirements and procedures of the ONEPass and COMPASS framework.

About COMPASS and ONEPass:

To improve workforce diversity and build a strong Singaporean core, COMPASS enables employers to choose high calibre foreign professionals. It is a transparent system that gives businesses greater clarity and certainty for manpower planning.

Ministry of Manpower also looks to attract Singapore's top foreign talent pool with a longer work visa to drive stability with the introduction of ONEPass.

Launched on 1 January 2023, the Overseas Networks & Expertise Pass (ONEPass) is a personalised pass for top talent across all sectors, including in business, arts and culture, sports, as well as academia and research. It allows eligible applicants to concurrently start, operate and work for multiple companies in Singapore at any one time.

The ONEPass targets top foreign professionals drawing a fixed monthly salary of $30,000 or more from a single employer, or those with outstanding achievements in arts and culture, sports, science and technology, as well as academia and research.

Under ONEPass, they would also not be subject to Complementarity Assessment Framework (COMPASS) and their employers will not be subject to the Fair Consideration Framework job advertising requirement.
