ICCS Shipping Committee's April Networking Event at Conrad Singapore Orchard

Last Thursday, the Shipping Committee of the Italian Chamber of Commerce, under the coordination of Carlo D'Amico and BRUNO LIOTTA, hosted its inaugural monthly cocktail event.

The gathering took place at Dolcetto within the Conrad Singapore Orchard, with culinary support from Executive Chef Luca Beccalli, Joan Apaya, and team.


Last week's discussions highlighted the maritime industry's shift towards digitalisation for efficiency and cost reduction, and the move to sustainable practices driven by decarbonisation regulations. The impact of climate change and geopolitical pressures on shipping logistics, raising transportation costs and complexities, was also addressed. Strategies to remain competitive and efficient in light of these challenges formed the core of the conversations.
